About Us

Family Lawyers Cardiff

Alun Jones Family Law (AJFL) is a niche, future focussed, Specialist Family Law Practice based in Cardiff, South Wales. AJFL was founded in 2005 by Alun Jones, a Solicitor, Family Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer, with over 20 years experience of working within the legal profession.

At Alun Jones Family Law we have a welcoming, professional team meet the team highly sensitive to the wide ranging needs and requirements of all our clients.

We recognise that the end of a relationship is tragic enough. At AJFL we believe that the process of divorcing or separating shouldn’t add to the pain but, instead, should help the separating couple to look forward to a more hopeful and positive future.

Our approach is conciliatory yet firm, practical and non confrontational. As Family Law professionals we offer advice which is clear and objective, enabling a clear path for you through the emotional financial complexity that accompanies divorce and separation. We work closely and sensitively with all our clients considering their needs and requirements in order to develop a strategy for the most positive outcome.

We all know that relationships can be difficult to make work at times and that couples should try to work hard together to get through the difficult periods. However, sometimes, relationships must inevitably come to an end. When our clients reach this decision to separate, our goal at AJFL is to assist them in cultivating an environment to achieve A HAPPIER AND WISER DIVORCE (click here for more information on Mindfulness)

We believe “if its over, then its over...and a brighter future beckons.... “
We encourage separating couples to DIVORCE WITH DIGNITY, so that their separated families can remain intact, thereby MINIMISING TRAUMA all around, especially for the children, who would otherwise, all too often, end up getting caught in the crossfire of a messy divorce.
